内橋木工舎のカトラリーは、１点ずつ手作業で制作した「刃物仕上げ」のカトラリーです。
　木材を刃物で削る「刳り物（くりもの）」の技法で制作しています。南京鉋（なんきんかんな）で削り出した独特の曲線形状が特徴で、持ちやすさや食べやすさといった、道具としての使いやすさにこだわっています。
　また、自ら伐採・製材した兵庫の里山材を使用するなど、里山保全や資源循環にも取り組んでいます。

　All of UCHIHASHI Woodworks’ cutlery is finished entirely by hand using carving tools.Rather than using sandpaper, I shape each piece with a traditional Japanese plane called a Nankinkanna. This creates distinctive, gently curved forms that are comfortable to hold and easy to use.

　I mainly use wood from the satoyama forests of Hyogo Prefecture, which I harvest and process myself. Through my work, I also strive to contribute to the conservation of these forests and the sustainable use of local wood resources.

グリーンウッドワークに触れ、刃物で木を削る楽しさを知る。鉋（かんな）の台打ち職人である山本禎恒氏に木工を学び、刃物仕上げのカトラリーを制作・販売しています。
